it's because this is eurovison not heavy metal festival.
every song on eurovision sucks, if you have noticed, and the winner is often "the best of the worst".
I have listened metal in 90's, and honestly - this song (from metal point of view) is CRAP.

'Emo' is a common stereotype that doesnt technically exist. It was others expressing what they are like. They share hobbies and music taste. Now it is normally used as an insult or a way of showing what someone is like. It is often misused saying that someone cuts themselves or what not.
Nobody screams out to the sky that theyre an emo. They're the ones that if there is, are not called emos; and if they are, they act like that to seem like what theyre not.
Basically, they're attention seeking.
