Stupid kicker? So stupid that Fedor infact trained with Hoost to prepare for his fight with Crocop in Pride. So shut the fuck up faggot. You have no idea what you are talking about. Fedor admires Hoost. Kickboxing and Mixed Martial Arts are two different sports. Fedor wouldn't last in K-1, the same way as Hoost or Badr Hari wouldn't last in MMA. Actually if he had the goal of doing K-1 I bet Fedor could excel at that too. Every fight it seems like his striking gets better, if he focused on striking only I imagine he'd get good at it, quite fast.

I'm as big as a fan of Fedor as anyone else. Fedor's build isn't custom-built for K-1. Most successful K-1 competitors are around 6'4" - 6'6" (Aerts, Hoost, Hari, Schilt, Bonjasky).. Fedor's striking is very good, unorthdox.. But his strength lays in his overall ability to blend striking, takedowns and groundwork. Personally, I don't think Fedor is tall enough to succeed in K-1. It's no disrespect to Fedor.. MMA and K-1 are two different sports. People need to recognize that.

I understand the difference. I could see it being a difficult transition, because K-1 is more about wearing opponents down(although the kicks can easily end a fight if a fighter makes a mistake and lets one connect with the wrong spots), wheras the lightly padded gloves in MMA allow for any hits to knock an opponent down and out. Fedor's boxing is meant to catch opponents just hard enough to knock em down so he can get em to the mat and submit em or ground and pound. Can't do that in K-1.

Hoost used to be so sick. chin down, arms up, legs bent, knees up during retreat, and all of it maintained during exchange. excellent class fighter right there.
