and that's cool and the gang... but rings mean a lot in the NBA. you also sleep on Malone's ability to be a scorer and Duncan's playoff record and MVP credentials. its all opinion, but I take Duncan and Malone over Barkley.

Barkley = Better Player than Both in his Prime, Period. Anyone who saw them play from 1985 to 1995 will say the same.
Scorer: Barkley Higher FG%, Taking Less Shots Per Game > Malone or Duncan
Rebounding: Barkley > Malone or Duncan
Assits: Barkley > Malone or Duncan
Steals: Barkley > Malone or Duncan
Blocks: Barkley > Malone
Barkley: Both TOP 10 Efficiency Player, Top 10 Player Efficiency Rating Player
Malone and Duncan where Great too. I prefer Malone than Duncan in some terms too.

I read it the first time you wrote it... I'll repeat myself again, too...
RINGS matter... which is why Duncan and McHale immediately go up the rankings.. and Malone played almost 20 years averaging double figure boards in 10 of them and was a career 25ppg for scorer... in 19 seasons!!!
You take Barkley, I take Duncan, McHale, and Malone.

Rings matter if you have great teams. Mr Duncan had Prime David Robinson playing Center in a twin tower system for his first 5 years. Then he was left with an asoume Prime Time Supporting Cast in a weak era with no handchecking allowed, no 3 second rule, no hard fouls, ghost calls, no fundamentals etc. Malone was made greater by Stockton hence his pathetic FG% in the playoffs. Ive already prooved that Barkley has superior Stats to both and McHale= made great by Bird, DJ, Parish, Ainge Walton etc

Barkley in Phoneix had only KJ in his prime, who was a selfish player that never understood his level of play (as below a legend) and his position as a point guard was to create for others 1st then 2nd score. He wanted to score at the same level as create. Chambers was 33 and a sub passed his prime, Ainge was 34 and passed his prime, No Center, No Frontline Defense and no Great Perimte Defenders. In Houston Barkley was downhill. He was 34, Drexler was 35 and Hakeem was 34. Total aged line up

dominique was kinda trailing down his career as was isiah at that point. both were injury proned and their teams weren't doing shit at the time.
magic and bird were injury prone too, but both were still enjoying SOME playoff success...
but I agree, Laettner shouldn't have been there, and someone like Isiah or Nique should've been on...

Thanks michalus, to put this on youtube. It brings me back in my memory when i was 12years old and watched my Croatia go to the finals when our country was in war and when many of us were crying for the loss of our fathers,brothers and so on! The only lighting point in our life was watching these games and see how for the first time a Croatian flag came on television!

Sir Charles was a one-time MVP. He was all NBA first time 5 times and 2nd team 5 times in his 16 year career. Tim Duncan has already been all-NBA first team 9 times ! By the way, if you consider Kevin Garnett to be a power forward, then Garnett will also rank ahead of the Round Mound by the time he retires. So, here is the correct order for now : 1) Duncan, 2) Malone, 3) Pettit, 4) Barkley, 5) Garnett.

By the way, since basketbal is a two way sport, there is more supporting evidence for Duncan, i.e., he is a 1st All-Defense 8 times. Compare that with Sir Charles. Chuck was All-Defense (1st or 2nd team) exactly ZERO times in his career. Don't get me wrong. Chuck was a great player. Incredible what he was able to do as a 6'5" power forward. He also was the leading scorer on the Dream Team in the Olympics. But he is not, repeat not, a greater player on the all-time list than Duncan.
