Do you love TMBG, but hate the way they play? Is this an ironic statement, that I'm failing to see the irony of? Is there a deeper musical meaning behind your words? Were you just drunk or high when you wrote this? Do you love TMBG as people, but hate them as a band? Did you deliberately write something nonsensical to confuse us?

Friend, if i understood. Beleive me, You would be the first i told. Maybe its because most people dont like there sound, but i like them anyway? or maybe I dont like there sound, but they brainwashed me somehow to listen to there music constantly. The reason someone wouldn't like TMBG or their music is maybe because they weren't exposed to music like this. Mainstream and some so-called indie music has been so badly dummied down, it's no wonder some people have no clue about this or what's it's about. I love it! Have for years! It has something that's uniquely its own. That's what makes music exciting.

I saw Jim Carrey's "Yes Man" last night, and I heard a snippet of this song in it. I was transported to 1989 in an instant, I got flashbacks of being 13 years old. What a great song, they truly don't make'm like they use'to.
