Wow, I saw this at a Houstong Boat Show back around 86 or so. Flashback. I wanted one so bad in high school. (Hmmm, maybe it was after I graduated in 87, since I recognized the Pink Floyd in it.) Amazing -- I tought, "hmmm, I'll see if there's anything on Scat" and here it was.

yep that would be about right, i bought one around 87 or 88... the 'scat 1' version i think it was. shortly after that they made some improvements, and another version... then it seems the company dissappeared from the USA market. they show up on ebay pretty regularly... so if u still want one... ;)

Looks like some Asian company owns the rights now and is planning to start producing them again. Maybe they'll make a modern comeback, and be cheaper.
