IZZIT TAT SMALL VS BIG??
If you've ever taken the time to actually watch some sumo matches, you'd know that the sport can be extremely violent.
Force of punches is proportional to bodyweight.
IMO, boxers are more efficient punchers coz they tend to punch with less effort. And they dont want to overcommit for a possible counter. They more technical. MMA fighters tend to commit more to a punch. Thats y their more powerful.
Or take this for example, what if Marciano was more massive, let's say, extra 25 lbs,he will hit harder for sure. There r many factors but generally size is proportional to punching power.
But weight really makes a difference. If it is negligible, having weight divisions is useless.
The trick is keeping it up, if you cant get oxegen to the muscles- larger guys tend to have this problem- then you cant put much force into it. Size and form matter- but strongs abbs dont mean s---.
