People can say what they want legally. No one took her freedom of speech away from her. Freedom of speech doesn't give her the right to say what she wants and then everyone has to agree with it. She was a coward to pander to the crowd as she did and got what she deserved for doing so. That is like a Baptist preacher going to a Catholic church and bad mouthing Baptists to the Catholic crowd and expecting to be accepted back in the Baptist church again.

Freedom of Speech doesn't mean freedom of speech for entertainers to say anything they want (especially if it is a continuous bashing of others that got worse as their fame grew, like Natalie Maines) and no freedom of dissent by those that disagree with her bashing. Freedom of speech isn't freedom of consequences. If Hobbs gets tried and acquitted, she'll be paying for opening her mouth AGAIN. To ggalen. Isn't it excellent that you have the freedom of speech to voice your displeasure. That is, by the way, a freedom afforded to each and every American.... such as Natalie Mains! And, apparently, one of the freedoms currently being defended.
Democracy is strongest when people don't have to fear voicing their opinions or objections.
In any event, you don't have to log on to their songs to post things. In fact, you could probably watch something else which you actually might like.
